Task: Give her a back rub
Reasoning: Remember those love languages I’ve brought up a couple times? Well, there are five total. So, along with Quality Time, Acts of Service, Words of Affirmation, and Gifts we have Physical Touch. So, let’s be honest – this one describes must of us husbands. But it also describes many wives, and this is sometimes overlooked.
Now let’s be clear, Physical Touch is not always spelled S-E-X. Sometimes it is, and that’s all kinds of nice, but many times for your wife, she needs non-sexual touch. This back rub is a great way to do that. So plan to give her a nice back massage WITH NO EXPECTATIONS. If a little something extra happens to follow, then yipee, but NO EXPECTING IT.
TWO DAYS AWAY – This Friday’s Task (Day 15) is “Date Night”, so if a babysitter is needed, start planning that now because part of the magic of date night is that you planned it out, so YOU need to contact the sitter, not your wife.
